The war and the financial crisis have doubly impacted the Georgian economy doubly. Mikheil Saakashvili, the President of Georgia stated the following at the meeting with MPs today.
Therefore, it is essential to undertake radical-democratic-liberal reforms.
‘We need more democracy in Georgia. We plan to take many steps in this light to provide new jobs, to offer better investment environment and to cut taxes for the civilians.’ – The President of Georgia said.
As the President underscored when the world suffers from financial crisis, Georgia needs to work out ‘Marshall Plan’.
‘We adopted the 4.5 million plan. We will need time to take in how we are to spend the sum. The fist 6 months will be very hard. Therefore, I ask the old and new government to gather at the session of the anti-crisis Council to discuss openly the matter.’ – Mikheil Saakashvili stated.
