The High Council will be elected in the autonomous republic of Adjara today. 6 political unions ‘United National Movement’, ‘Industry will Save Georgia’, ‘United Communist Party’, ‘ Georgian Group’, ‘George Targamadze-Christians-Democrats’, and ‘ We ourselves ‘ are registers in the polling stations.
There are 289 196 electorates in Adjara, namely 98 350 in Batumi, 15 334 in Keda, 66 885 in Kobuleti, 15 175 in Shuakhevi, 69 608 in Khelvachauri and 23 844 in Khulo.
There are 334 polling stations where more that 20 international and 9 local observation organizations are engaged to monitor the election today.
The voting process has already started at 8:00am.
