Poti Port Is Paralyzed

Due to bombing of Poti Port late at night on August 8, a special briefing was held by English Director of ‘Corporation Poti Harbor’ Alan Middleton on August 9.
He spoke about the fact of killing innocent people and financial damage inflicted to the harbor.
‘The Harbor is not a facility of military destination, it’s a commercial structure. We’ll file a complaint against Russia to international court’, he noted.
According to him, workers are evacuated from the harbor; the facility is paralyzed, what has negative influence over economical accounts and investments of the enterprise.
According to him, the ships which were sailing to Poti Port have to sail back.
The Port will restore functioning only after when there is no threat from Russian bombers.
