None of Occupational Troops to be Stationed in Senaki Military base at Moment

None of occupational troops are stationed in Senaki military base at the moment.
As Koba Kilasonia, the governor of Senaki reported InterpressNews, mine clearing team is expected to come to the place. After the team has finished its operations, units of Georgian army will maintain its position there.
As for the other regions of Samegrelo – Chkhorotsku and Tsalenjikha, Russian militants remain stationed there. Invaders have reinforced their positions, occupied a several days ago, there. They have dug trenches and have brought containers there. According to the released information, the troops are not going to leave the territory.

Russian Military Sub-divisions Have Not Regrouped

Russian military forces, stationed in different regions of west Georgia, have not begun to regroup.
Shota Utiashvili, the head officer of analytical department of Internal Affairs of Georgia, stated the following in the briefing held at 12:00am.
The invader forces are stationed in Senaki and in the vicinity of Teklari check post. The militants do not intend to regroup in direction of Kutaisi or other cities of today.’ – Shota Utiashvili remarked.

Russian Militaries Emerged in Senaki and Poti Again

Russian militaries emerged in Senaki and Poti again. Georgian side officially confirms the following information.
Coast defense base in Poti is being destroyed again. 2 explosions have been reported on military base of Senaki as well. Weapon depot is destroyed.

Russian Aircrafts Bombed Military Base of Senaki and Patriots Camp of Ganmukhuri

Russian aviation attacked Senaki a few minutes ago. Shells hit the military base of Senaki and the vicinity of the base.
Russian fighter jets bombed Patriots camp located in the village of Ganmukhuri, Zugdidi region as well.
Information regarding casualties has not been confirmed until yet. Several have been wounded.

Effort of Bombing Kulevi and Senaki by Russian Bombers Was Reported at 21.20pm

An effort of bombing Kulevi and Senaki by Russian bombers was again reported at 21.20pm on August 9, but the Georgian side managed to confront air forces of the Russian Federation this time too.
As Poti Mayor Vano Saghinadze stated to InterpressNews, Russian bombers flew from the sea; they flew above the sea for 10 minutes, flying in the direction of sea forces, but Georgian anti-aircraft gunners opened fire towards them in the sea and didn’t allow Russian bombers to drop bombs.
Russian jets have already left Poti air space and there is tranquillity in the city for the moment.
