EU has not basis not to restore negotiations with Russia on new agreement.
‘Radio Mayak’ informs that the announcement was made by France President Nicola Sarkozy was made according to special EU summit results in Brussels.
Sarkozy stated that Russia realized two demands of EU regarding Georgian military conflict.
EU chairman Jose Manuel Borroso called for Poland and Lithuania to realize European position about necessity to continue negotiations on new agreement.

Exchanging of prisoners was officially carried out a few minutes ago in Igoety.
15 Georgian prisoners were set free in exchange of 5 Russians by Russian side. 2 from 15 Georgian prisoners were injured.
The exchange process was closed for journalists. Kakha Lomaia, the Deputy of Security council of Georgia and other representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia took part in the process.

Russian Fighter Jets Attacked Tank Unit in Gori
Russian fighter jets dropped a bomb on the territory of tank unit in Gori at 06:00am.
The military base and the city Gori were bombed for many times during the last days.
The locals of Gori have already left the city. Georgian and foreign journalists are still working in the international media centre.

Emergent: Russian Aviation Has Attacked Villages of Urta and Old Abastumani of Zugdidi Region
Just several minutes ago, Russian aviation has attacked village Urta of Zugdidi region and village Old Abastumani located 6-km distance away from Zugdidi.
According to existing information, one of strategic facilities is bombed in Urta village.
Several shells have been dropped in the village of Old Abastumani as well. This village is densely populated and the base of Russian peacekeepers is also located there.
As a correspondent of the InterpressNews reports, the Georgian side opened anti-aircraft fire, though information regarding dawning of a bomber has not been obtained until yet.
News about casualties is not spread as well.
